These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HirGulf (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. What HirGulf is

HirGulf is an online marketplace that helps job seekers and employers find one another across the Gulf. We are not an employer, recruiter or employment agency, and we are not a party to any employment relationship, contract or hiring decision made between users. We do not guarantee any job, hire, response or outcome.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• Provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Register either as a job seeker or an employer. Don't impersonate others or create accounts to abuse the Platform.

3. Accurate profile details

• The details on your talent profile — in particular your nationality, date of birth, gender, education and experience level — must be true. Employers rely on them, and misstating them to obtain work may also breach local labour rules.
• Because some employers set these as strict requirements, changing any of them starts a 24-hour waiting period before you can apply to jobs that list them as requirements. This exists to stop a profile being edited to fit a specific job and used to apply immediately. Jobs without strict requirements are unaffected.
• Your date of birth is never displayed publicly; your talent ad shows only the age derived from it.
• We may restrict or remove accounts that repeatedly misrepresent these details.

4. Free for job seekers — never pay a fee

Using HirGulf as a job seeker is free. HirGulf and legitimate employers will never ask you to pay a recruitment, visa, processing or "registration" fee. Never send money or share bank/payment details to get a job. If anyone asks, do not pay — report them to us immediately.

5. Employer terms

• You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality and content of your company profile and job listings, and for your hiring decisions.
• Post only genuine openings. Do not post fake jobs, harvest personal data, or ask candidates for money.
• Include required details such as salary ranges, and comply with applicable GCC labour laws and anti-discrimination rules. Do not use targeting fields (gender, age, nationality) to unlawfully discriminate.
• You must have the right to represent the company you register.

6. The Verified badge

The "Verified" badge reflects automated identity checks (such as a verified email, an uploaded trade licence, a complete profile and a clean report record). It confirms certain checks were passed — it is not a guarantee of an employer's legitimacy, a job, or a hire. Always keep communication on the Platform and never pay a fee.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, illegal or infringing content; harass, spam or defraud other users; scrape or harvest data; upload malware; attempt to bypass our security or moderation; or use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (profiles, listings, messages, uploads). You grant HirGulf a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, display and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Platform. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to share it.

9. Moderation

We use automated and manual review to keep the Platform safe. We may screen, limit, hide or remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate these Terms or harm users — including automatic action on reports of fee-asking or fraud.

10. Paid features (when enabled)

Employers may purchase optional paid features such as subscription plans, featured listings or profile boosts. Prices and billing terms are shown before purchase and processed by our payment provider. Applicable taxes (e.g. VAT) may apply. Subscription fees are recurring until cancelled. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable for partial periods.

11. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that employers or candidates are legitimate, or that use of the Platform will result in a job or hire.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HirGulf and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform, or from dealings between users.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time (Settings → Privacy & your data). We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect users and the Platform.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction — to be confirmed by HirGulf, e.g. the United Arab Emirates], and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
